Something had gone missing from the PM system I wanted back [ Edited ]

The options to deal with messages (InBox) have been reduced to all-inclusive choices.  If I want to delete several, or many, it makes no difference.  I can only delete them all.  Why was that changed, and where is the specific option I want to use located now? 

Finally, October 14th, the options were reinstated!

It's probably too soon for the fix to be applied; I just wanted to delete a singleton, today, and no luck yet.
